Despite investments in research-backed Tier 1 curriculum, content-based professional development, + DEI trainings, many school systems are struggling to produce equitable academic outcomes for the Black children in their schools. While their efforts have introduced a new baseline for appropriately rigorous grade-level work and, at best, have provided a forum for school teams to talk about race, opportunity gaps persist.  This brings many of us educators and administrators alike to feel lost, frustrated, and misaligned with their vision for equity, all while lacking any clarity around how to take action that leads to change and access for Black children. 

During this masterclass you will learn:

• How the seven real and perceived barriers are undermining your capacity for engineering equitable outcomes for Black and Brown children
• How to disrupt these barriers and get your team to operate at the intersection of instruction and equity regardless of mindsets or skill levels

• How to take concerted action that leads to sustainable change in practice.  ​

Sable has over 10 years of experience as a teacher, coach, curriculum designer and project manager.
