TESTIMONIALS

Lisa Sylvester
Principal at St. Martinville Primary

"Ms. Mensah's instructional guidance in professional development sessions has had a significant impact on my Educational Leadership capabilities. Her expertise as my DDI coach empowered my ability to deliver more specific and meaningful weekly Professional Learning Community meetings which is crucial for both teacher and student growth. I now have more knowledge of how to guide teachers on how to truly analyze student data which steers them toward better instructional practices geared toward specific student needs. Ms. Mensah's coaching has also provided me with techniques needed to become a better instructional facilitator for my teaching staff. She has taught me how to facilitate using specific verbal prompts which provokes teachers to think more critically which helps them to better engage in and internalize the lessons that they teach. "

Christina Riley
K-12 Math and Science Instructional Coach

"My group was given the district cumulative assessment for ELA. We had to read and determine the two standards we would focus on the rest of the day. After we selected the standard, we needed to break it down further to what the students need to know and what the students need to do. Since I am math and science coach, I found this extremely challenging. After the activity was completed, I reflected on how Sable allowed me to productively struggle with the task and allowed an opportunity to experience how math and science teachers would feel unpacking the standards."

Juanique Dugas
ELA/Social Studies Instructional Coach

"The first thing that strikes me when it comes to Ms. Sable is her philosophy and the name of her company, Equitable Outcomes. This philosophy speaks volumes in regards to educating children....creating opportunities for equity in the classroom for ALL students which will lead to equitable outcomes in student achievement. With this in mind, Ms. Sable's expertise and coaching style leads to barriers being broken about what students can and can't do. The strategies she uses force a shift from closed mindsets to growth mindsets working from evidence versus inferences or judgments about teachers and students. This evidence-based approach removes personal feelings from the equation and puts the focus on what students need to be successful according to state standards. She has made a lasting impact on our district."
